 TA: Core Contingency Goes Gold! 
Cavedog Entertainment has announcement that their second release, Total Annihilation:The Core Contingency, has gone gold. The game is expected to ship by the end of the month nationwide (US). This new arsenal will expand Total Annihilation, the company’s international award-winning real-time strategy game, to include a grand total of more than 225 3-D battle units, 75 explosive missions, 65 multiplayer maps and 12 ultrarealistic 3-D worlds.

Microsoft "Outwars" demo is here! 
Microsoft's demo to their upcoming action-strategy-arcade game Outwars has been released and is now available for download at GameSpot.  This demo includes both single and multiplayer functionality and a variety of game play missions.  Players will be able to use this demo version to wage battles against one another, for free, over the Internet Gaming Zone. 

Dominion: Demo Patch v1.1 
An upgrade patch for the Dominion Demo has been released. Though Ion Storm's Dominion Demo section does not show the patch, it is available from Eidos Interactive's FTP site. A few network gaming and NT problems have been fixed. To see what other improvements and fixes the patch offers, click here. To download the patch (3.6mb), click here. According to Eidos Interactive, any new problems encountered to should be reported to the Dominion Feedback web page. 

Lords of Magic Patch v2.02 
Sierra has released yet another patch (v2.02) for Lords of Magic. This patch will install over all previous versions of the game. Find this patch and others here. 

Microsoft also confirmed that Outwars has been released to manufacturing and will arrive in stories no later than April 30, 1998. For more information about this, and other important news surrounding Outwars, be sure to check the official Web site here.
